Model 100
The Model 100 calibration system consists of a uniform heating plate, controller,
and Type K thermocouple that is used to heat and test metal samples over the
temperature range of ambient to 950°F (510°C). This system provides a fast and
simple offline method to verify the accuracy of infrared sensors and thermocouple
probes on specific test samples. It is used to determine the proper TRUSET setting,
SIF (Surface Index Factor) adjustment, and/or emissivity of a surface by using a
thin wire thermocouple embedded in the test sample. It is commonly used as a
reference source for characterizing aluminum and other low emissivity materials
plus it can be used as an approximate blackbody reference when looking at a flat
black painted metal surface. This calibration system eliminates the uncertainty
regarding application errors associated with surface emissivity.

Model 452 Blackbody
The Model 452 calibration system is a compact, infrared reference source that
provides a primary standard for the calibration of low- and mid-temperature range
infrared thermometers. This system is designed to check calibration and recalibrate
sensors in the 100-1600°F (40-875°C) temperature range. This system features an
aperture diameter of 2.25 inches (5.7 cm), excellent uniformity, an accurate
readout/control system,rugged long-lasting construction,and an emissivity of 0.995.
It is factory calibrated using NIST-referenced infrared thermometers. It can be used
by both calibration laboratories and plant maintenance to periodically check and
recalibrate infrared thermometers in the low-and mid-temperature ranges.

Model 500 Blackbody
The Model 500 calibration system is a high-temperature infrared reference source
that provides a primary standard for the calibration of infrared thermometers.
The system consists of a furnace and remote control module and is designed to
check calibration and recalibrate sensors in the 925-2725°F (500-1500°C) temperature
range. This system features an aperture diameter of 2.25 inches (5.7 cm),
excellent uniformity, an accurate readout/control system, rugged long-lasting
construction, and an emissivity of 0.995. The blackbody cavity is a special
nitride-bonded, silicon carbide, closed-end tube assembly that is uniformly heated
using elements inserted in the back surface for accurate measurement and control.
The system is factory calibrated using NIST-referenced infrared thermometers. It can
be used by both calibration laboratories and plant maintenance to periodically
check and recalibrate infrared thermometers in the high temperature range.
